The storm that roiled through Atlanta this morning was pretty much done by the time I got into town. I didn't see much evidence of it, either. What I did see was pretty impressive, though. A heavy planter, tree and all, knocked all the way over on the sidewalk; a traffic light arm pushed to a 45 degree angle across the street, as opposed to it's usual 90 angle. That last one was impressive!
Of course, I also saw some blooming trees!!! None by me, but Lindsay has one!
I took some pictures of the city shrouded in cloud, and a few building shots that I hoped would be interesting, during my commute, this morning. Got to love Atlanta traffic. You sit still long enough to get bored and start snapping photographs! I haven't looked at them yet; they may all be crap. Instead, I give you this hysterical picture I snapped of my rockin' backstage girls last week:

"The photographer surprises a pair of the elusive back-stage-crew-members with an unexpected bright flash in their usually shadowy world."
I was trying to get a picture of the nightly "coffee and cookie time," but apparently all I did was surprise them. I'm very impressed by Darla being cut perfectly in half. Makes the picture pretty interesting. I couldn't have done that on purpose if I had tried!
This weather better clear up, though. I had plans to build that closet organizer (and Tommy has plans to ravish me once I'm sweaty and covered in sawdust) tonight. Can't do that if it's icky, though; my build space is on the porch!
